NSW & Victorian Flood Recovery Grants
Both NSW & Victorian state governments have released a large array of grants, subsidies and loans to assist people impacted by floods throughout 2022.

NSW Flood Recovery Programs
NSW Rural Assistance Authority – Special Disaster Grants (Primary Producers)
Grants of up to $75,000 are available to support primary producers who have been impacted by the floods and severe weather conditions.

NSW Rural Assistance Authority – Rural Landholders Grants
Grants of up to $10,000 are available per affected property to alleviate the personal and financial distress and assist in the recovery of rural landholders who have suffered direct damage to their assets as a result of a declared natural disaster event but are ineligible for primary producer natural disaster assistance

NSW Rural Assistance Authority – Natural Disaster Transport Subsidy
Payments of 50% of transport costs, to a maximum of $15,000 or $25,000 depending on which flood event you are impacted by. Available for the transport of fodder and/or water to a property, stock to/from agistment and stock to sale or slaughter following a declared natural disaster event.

NSW Storm and Flood Disaster Recovery Small Business Grant
Grants of up to $50,000 are available to support small businesses and not-for-profit organisations that suffered direct damage as a result of the NSW storms and floods.
NSW Rural Assistance Authority – Natural Disaster Relief Loan (Primary Producers)
Low interest rate loan up to $130,000 to provide assistance to eligible primary producers, following the declaration of a natural disaster.

NSW Rural Assistance Authority – Natural Disaster Relief Loan (Small Business)
Loans up to $130,000 at a concessional rate with a two-year interest and repayment free period may be provided to small business operators.

NSW Rural Assistance Authority – Natural Disaster Relief Loan (Sporting & Recreation Clubs)
A concessional loan up to $10,000 may be provided to sporting and recreation clubs and associations as a contribution towards clean up, removal of debris and/or restoring essential facilities, equipment or other assets that have been damaged or destroyed by a disaster.

NSW Rural Assistance Authority – Natural Disaster Relief Loan (Non-profit Organisations)
Loans up to $25,000 with terms of up to five years at a concessional rate may be provided to non-profit organisations.

Natural Disaster Donated Fodder Transport Subsidy
Funding assistance to organisations that donate and transport donated fodder to a central location within NSW for the benefit of three or more primary producers with livestock, in the event of a natural disaster.

Victorian Flood Recovery Programs
Small Business Immediate Flood Relief Program
One-off grants of $5,000 each per business to assist eligible businesses that were directly affected by flood damage as a result of the Victorian flood events.

Community Sport Emergency Flood Assistance Program
$5,000 one-off grants are available to assist in the replacement of items that have been lost, damaged or destroyed.
Business and Community Sport Flood Recovery Grants
A grant of up to $50,000, inclusive of the initial $5,000 already received through either the Small Business Immediate Flood Relief or the Community Sport Emergency Flood Assistance programs.

Victorian Small Business and Not for Profit Organisations Concessional Loans
Concessional Loans of up to $250,000 are available to assist those Small Business and Not-for-Profit organisations which have suffered significant damage to their assets and/or significant loss of income.
Victorian Primary Producer Flood Recovery Package – Primary Producer Flood Recovery Grants
A grant for up to $75,000 to support clean-up, relief and recovery costs for Primary Producers that have suffered direct loss or damage as a direct result of the 2022 Victorian Floods.

Victorian Primary Producer Flood Recovery Package – Rural Landholder Grants
A grant for up to $25,000 to support clean-up, relief and recovery costs for rural landholders that have a smaller-scale primary production enterprise, suffered direct loss or damage to their primary production enterprise as a direct result of the 2022 Victorian Floods and are not eligible for the Victorian Special Disaster Grants – Primary Producer Flood Recovery Grants.

Primary Producer Flood Relief Program – Primary Producer Flood Recovery Transport Support Program
Payments of 50% of transport costs, to a maximum of $15,000 (GST exclusive), are available per primary production enterprise.
Primary Producer Flood Relief Program – Primary Producer Flood Recovery Concessional Loans
Concessional loans of up to $250,000 are available to assist businesses in need of financial assistance as a result of direct damage or significant loss of income to their primary production business caused by the Victorian Floods.
